The members of DROC (Delaware Revolution of Change) thank you very much for your support of their Movie Night and Baked Goods fundraiser. Over $700 was was for the B+ Foundation, helping children and their families battling cancer. Holy Cross is a wonderfully generous community. May God bless you all!
OPPORTUNITIES
Wanted: New Altar Servers Girls and boys who have completed grade 4 or higher are needed. Training consists of two classes , Tuesday Aug 3 and Wednesday Aug 4 from 9:30 am to noon. BOTH classes are required. Parents must complete a registration form - available at the Parish Office - for each child being trained. Registrations must be received by July 29, 2010.

RCIA Sponsors Are Needed We have a dozen people anxious to become members of our faith community and need to match them with faith filled Holy Cross parishioners who are willing to accompany them on their journey. los domingos. Si puede ayudar con un plato para vender o

un Festival en honor a Nuestra Herencia Católica Hispana. Si

July 26-30 Holy Cross Cheerleading Camp for girls ages 5-13. Registration is $65 and may be submitted at the Parish Office.
August 3-4 Altar Server Training 9:30 am to Noon. You must register by July 29th. Forms are available at the Parish Office.

Prayer for Priests
O Loving Father, You
are holiness itself. Through the Baptismal water and the Holy
Spirit, You call all Your children to holiness. From
among the priesthood of believers, You have called and set aside
certain men to share in the ministerial priesthood of Your Son and
our Lord, Jesus Christ. Nothing matters more than that they become
holy and loving servants of the Church. During this “Year for
Priest”, we pray for all those who respond to the Master’s call to
become priestly servants of your people. May their ministry and
their
lives help them to grow in holiness. Draw them ever deeper, Father,
into the mystery of Your Divine Love.
We ask this prayer through Christ our High Priest, who is Lord, for
ever and ever. Amen.
