CCD NEWS 

PRAY FOR THE CHILDREN  who are preparing to celebrate First Communion this month.

Catechists Shoebox - Post Easter click here

First Communion celebrations will take place at the 5 pm Masses on May 19 and at the 9:15 and 11:00 am Masses on May 20.  We will reserve the center pews for the children and their families.

Registration for Confirmation for the 2012-2013 year has begun.  Click here for forms and information.

LIFENIGHT Activities will take place immediately after the Sunday 6pm Mass for all students in 9th - 12th grades.  We will gather in the cafeteria.  All students must sign in when they arrive.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the International Food Festival a memorable event.  Special thanks to Jack Rofrano, Food Festival Chairperson, and to all the food booth chairs. 

Thank you to Phil Wandless, Soccer Coordinator, and to the volunteer coaches and team coordinators who make this program possible. Hundreds of children and parents come to Holy Cross each Saturday to participate in the games. 

Thank you to Sophia Kramedas-Ghanayem and Kelly Wark and all the volunteers who worked to make the Bling and Blue Jean Gala such a success.  The proceeds from the Gala will be used for technology improvements for the school.  Thank you to all who supported this event.

Thank you to all who volunteered for the St Joseph and St Francis Guilds.  Our new committee chairs are organizing the teams.  It is not too late to join.  Contact the Parish Office if interested.

Pastoral Council Election  Saturday and Sunday, June 2-3.  Candidates must submit a letter of candidacy and a brief biography by 4:00 pm May 21.  Any registered parishioner, age 16 or over who is fully initiated in the Catholic Church and has time to volunteer is eligible to server.

  Blood Pressure Screenings - The Ministry of Caring's Health Care Ministry is offering free blood pressure screenings after all Masses the second weekend of each month in the Bride's Room (except for April due to Easter).   Any one over the age of 18 is welcome to have their blood pressure taken by one of our certified nurses.
